Mutual Arts Collective (MAC) is an art gallery and private event space committed to showing and selling works by artists who are impacted by structural inequities and other experienced traumas. Founded by Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, his wife Ashley O’Connor McCready, and longtime collaborator Chris Adams, MAC’s mission is to celebrate community creators, remove barriers to exhibiting and selling art, and support local nonprofits working to increase access to the arts, and storytelling.
In addition to showcasing original works by these artists, MAC also serves as a platform for visual storytelling that amplifies lived experience. Recently MAC’s walls featured portraits of individuals freed and exonerated by the Washington Innocence Project. The current exhibition features portraits of people who have experienced solitary confinement, as documented by Look2Justice and the Social Documentary Network.
MAC is perfect for booking and hosting a variety of occasions, including board meetings, birthday parties, corporate events, and viewing parties. It can accommodate up to 30 guests for intimate sit-down dinners and up to 70 for vibrant stand-up cocktail parties.
Mutual Arts Collective is located on the top floor of the Corner Market Building on the Southeast corner of First Ave & Pike Street across the hall from Matt’s in the Market and adjacent to Radiator Whiskey.
